From Forcia Neigra (2508 metres – see entry “Forcia Neigra round trip”) continue along a path, partially equipped with ropes and ladders, until Passo San Nicolò (2339 metres), where you will find a mountain refuge. From here descend towards Rifugio Contrin and Malga Contrin (2027 metres) and, walking along the enchanted valley which bears the same name, you return to Alba di Canazei.
