CREPA NEIGRA
Have you ever noticed that above the villages of Alba and Canazei there is a rather singular mountain? It is the unmistakable Crepa Neigra, a mountain of volcanic origin that also makes the panorama of Ciampac unique. Going up the zig-zag path to Pian de Sele (2346 metres) you reach the slopes of this small peak, up to Spiz de Sforcela (2484 metres) to be exact. Once you reach the small plateau where there is the cross, you can enjoy a 360-degree panorama over the entire Val di Fassa: from Colac and Vernel to the Sella Group, with the imposing Piz Boè, but also Sassolungo and Sassopiatto and the Catinaccio massif. Return to Ciampac following the same route as you came.
