Looking for the ideal place for an unforgettable family day? We have no doubts, it’s Ciampac! This beautiful basin, reachable from Alba di Canazei with the cable car, offers great emotions to adults and children, primarily thanks to the incomparable view of the Dolomites that surround it.
In addition to the fantastic snowy panorama, framed by Colac, the majestic Sella Group and Crepa Neigra, the Ciampac-Buffaure ski area offers slopes of all levels. Here you will find blue slopes for the little ones and beginners, but also red slopes and challenging black slopes where you can test yourself. For the more experienced, absolutely not to be missed is the descent with almost a thousand meters of altitude difference starting from Sella Brunech and descending to Alba di Canazei along the legendary black forest track. At the ski lift Delle Baite, instead, everyone can learn to ski, on their own or by relying on the Canazei Marmolada Ski School which has its own school camp at Ciampac.
Then there is the Ciampark, a fun playground on the snow with free access. Here wooden games such as slides and swings await you but also a small slope for sleds where the little ones can have fun and experience a pinch of adrenaline. And still speaking of adrenaline, at the Sasso di Rocca ski lift you can’t miss the timed track, a timed slalom course to experience the thrill of true ski champions and test the skills of the whole family.
To complete the offer there are the snowshoe trail, which is approx. 3 km long and is suitable even for the little ones, and the four mountain refuges in the ski area which offer a wide range of traditional specialties, fish dishes and an excellent pizza.
